A browser workspace for questions that need real execution.
Solidity REPL turns fragments and complete contracts into a visible, repeatable investigation. It combines a sequential transcript, compiler controls, local or forked EVM state, and inspection in one workspace.

Write an expression, declaration, function, interface, or full contract. Accepted REPL entries build one Solidity program, and every run can expose values, gas, logs, calls, storage effects, generated source, and optional opcode details.
The compiler and EVM run in your browser
Solidity compilation and EthereumJS EVM execution happen inside a browser worker. Local mode does not call an RPC. Fork mode sends state-reading requests from your browser to the selected RPC, then simulates the execution locally without broadcasting a transaction.
Adding a verified contract sends its chain ID and address to Sourcify so the browser can build a typed interface from public metadata. GitHub imports read its public API and raw files from the browser. Other public Git hosts use shallow, read-only requests through the app Worker. Read the Privacy page for the complete request and storage boundary.
Stable releases come from one catalog
The version picker, documentation range, and table below all use the same compiler catalog. A selected version stays pinned to its session.
